Terms of Service
In short: the site is free, built to help you understand and practice for the ABE licensure exam. It is not run by the PRC and cannot promise that you will pass. Use it honestly, don't attack or misuse it, and check important facts against the official sources.
1. About these terms
By using inhinyerongmagsasaka.com (“the site”, “we”, “us”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
2. What the site is
The site is a free, open-source review website for the Philippine Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Licensure Examination: lessons, practice questions, mock exams, flashcards and interactive diagrams. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) or the Professional Regulatory Board of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.
3. No guarantee of results
The site helps you study; it does not predict or guarantee a board exam result. Scores, progress, readiness and ranks shown in the app are study signals, not a forecast of passing. Exam schedules, rules and requirements are set by the PRC; always confirm them with the PRC.
4. Accuracy of content
We build questions and lessons from laws, Philippine agricultural engineering standards (PAES and PNS) and recognised references, and we cite our sources. Content is reviewed in stages and many items are marked as drafts awaiting review by a licensed Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer. Mistakes are possible. Use the in-app report button when you find one, and rely on the official text of a law or standard for any real engineering work. The site is not professional engineering advice.
5. Accounts
- An account is optional. Some features (such as rank and the learning profile) need one.
- Give a real email address you control, keep your password private, and use the account for yourself only.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the site at risk.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not:
- attack, overload, probe or try to break the site's security, or access other people's data;
- use automated tools to collect content or accounts in a way that harms the service;
- impersonate another person, or claim to be a licensed engineer or a peer reviewer when you are not;
- send reports or other content that is unlawful, abusive, or that copies copyrighted material, paid reviewers or recalled board exam items word for word;
- present the site's ranks as professional titles. Ranks are game ranks that measure study effort, have no monetary value and may be changed or reset.
7. Content and licences
- The site's software is open source under the MIT licence.
- Our questions, lessons and explanations are shared under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0): you may share and adapt them for non-commercial purposes if you credit inhinyerongmagsasaka.com and share your changes under the same licence.
- Laws, standards and the works we cite belong to their owners. We quote and paraphrase them only as needed to teach, and link to the official sources.
- When you send a report or suggestion, you allow us to use it to correct and improve the content.
8. Changes and availability
The site is provided free and “as is”. We may change, pause or end features at any time, and we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Your progress saved on your device stays in your browser; export it from the Progress page if you want a copy.
9. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made on the basis of the site's content, including exam results. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have under Philippine law and that cannot be waived.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell signed-in users in the app before the change applies. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.
